"All the awesome sounds, styles, and way cool dance steps from the 1980's decade. (the new) Metal Shop / Danger Kitty | ||||
| When the original Metal Shop band members split off to form Metal Skool (now Steel Panther) their former management company, Perfect World Entertainment, retained the rights to the band names Metal Shop & Danger Kitty and for the "characters" associated to those 80's metal cover bands. The new Metal Shop & Danger Kitty might be the first cover band to pay tribute to another cover band! Although they are different than the original, the new bands are worth checking out if you are an 80's metal fan. From 2004-2005, the new Metal Shop performed in Vegas Tuesdays at the Suncoast Casino and they performed Thursdays at the Vegas House of Blues courtyard ("Club Blue") inside the Mandalay Bay casino. In 2006 Metal Shop performed Tuesdays at the Las Vegas "Hidden Secrets Gentlemen's Club" and starting 3/29/07 they started performing on Mondays at the Rockhouse Bar at the Vegas Imperial Palace. Starting May 2007 they performed most Thursdays at the new Vegas Canyon club. They have also performed at The Canyon in Agoura Hills, CA and as Danger Kitty at the Belly Up in Aspen, CO. Starting late 2007 Danger Kitty started performing Friday nights at Sachi Bar in Long Beach, CA. | ||||
